Game of Thrones Studio Tour Admission and Transfer from Belfast

When we visited Belfast last month, I insisted that we do the studio tour. I watched GOT several times so the opportunity to see actual props and costumes? Sign me up! I felt the admission was a bit high for the size of the studio but I think the authenticity is where that comes from. I was worried about being done to catch our bus back into Belfast so I think I went through it faster than I needed to. I would have liked to take in a second loop.

This review is on behalf of my wife who is a big Game of Thrones fan. From the beginning to the end of the trip it was very well organised, with pick-up on time, on the journey was given Information about the studios and why it was picked. At the studios I saw the set and costumes up close was excellent, there was plenty of time to see and do all we wanted to with clear detailed descriptions. Overall would recommend this trip.

WELL DONE! Incredibly curated experience - good for fans of the GOT series, but also for anyone interested in film or tv. Has great information on production, design, scoring, costuming, and has a great opening sequence to the exhibit. One down side: I attended with a fan of the show, where I had not seen it. I loved the exhibit as an overall fan of museums and history - which this certainly falls into. However I found myself wondering for details on how many episodes were filmed in the building etc, and it wasn’t until I met a very helpful staff member in the gift shop that I learned that much of what I had seen was original sets, that 33% of the entire series was shot inside the building and that at least three of the major scenes/sets you see were original and almost fully intact. I wish the text panels had conveyed that information more clearly- it would have added to the overall experience for a non-fan who is more interested in the overall history of the space. The costumes are incredible and in general - this is a don’t miss!

The game of thrones studio tour is absolutely brilliant. The highlight for me was the costumes, so incredibly intricate. I spent ages looking at everything. I got the 9.30 coach from Belfast and left at 2.45 so was there a while. Went on a Sunday and was great! Not too busy and lots of spce. The staff working there were so nice and friendly especially the guide in the first hall. Would recommend for any fans of the show.

Easy and convenient - pick up and back was straightforward. Studio was good. We booked the first trip and it was relatively quiet.
