A fabulous day with "D" (Duygu Belkıs Tankut)
We had an incredible experience on the Private Gallipoli Day Tour from Istanbul. The entire day was really well organised, and what made it unforgettable was our wonderful guide, Duygu Belkıs Tankut. Duygu's knowledge of Gallipoli and the ANZAC campaign was exceptional, and her passion for the history made every stop meaningful. Thanks to her extensive knowledge, she also took us to additional sites that other tour groups don't usually visit, such as the grave of John (Kirkpattick) Simpson "Simpson and his Donkey", which made the experience even more special. She also took us to a lovely local restaurant for lunch, adding another wonderful touch to the day. We left with a deeper appreciation of Gallipoli and its significance. We highly recommend this tour, and if you're lucky enough to have Duygu as your guide, you're in for a really memorable experience.
Wonderful ANZAC Cove/Gallipoli tour
From pick up to drop off, everything ran seemlessly. Baha was an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable, friendly, extremely helpful. He went over & above to ensure we had the experience of a lifetime. Even down to buying spices & recommendations for dinner. Thanks for a wonderful day Baha. Highly recommend.
Excellent guided tour to Gallipoli Peninsula
Well organised and structured day tour from Istanbul to all of the major ANZAC sites on the Gallipoli Peninsula. Clean and modern van with pick up and drop off direct from/to hotel. Made sure to have breaks for drinks and food during the long drive there and back. Sureyya, our English speaking tour guide, was excellent. He provided interesting background on Turkish history and points of interest along the way and was very knowledgeable about the Gallipoli Peninsula. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to do a day trip to Gallipoli from Istanbul.
It’s a very long day but...
