Complete day
Excellent day, wonderful place and especially the crew and Franklin who help you with everything and advise and explain. Thank you very much and 100x100 recommended.
Disappointing- Do NOT get snorkel experince
This was a very disorganized tour without proper communication about what to expect. First, we had to wait for an hour in the rain for the bus to get to the pick up location. Please communicate you are running late so that we can arrive at the appropriate time. Once on the bus to the beach, they didn't seem to know that there were different experiences on the bus. I had to point out that I had snorkeling and another group pointed out they weren't even going to Mambo Beach. They said they would figure it out, and they did. Mambo beach club itself was nice, service was excellent, and the included lunch of fried fish was really good. The snorkel experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. The boat picked us up from Mambo beach and we were told that it included the snorkel experience, a visit to the mangroves, and a private beach. When we arrived at the snorkel spot, there were already 8 other boats parked in a circle. The guide went to another boat, took the used masks from other people who were done, and gave them to us to use- didn't even bother cleaning them. Then we jumped into the water and it was heart breaking to see the dead coral reef. The boats threw their anchors on top on the reef. Yes, you will see fish, but there is no guide, just you swimming around a small crowded area. The mangrove experience was equally disappointing because it was a long line of boats crowded into the same small space- you are drowning in exhaust fumes the entire time. They fed the little raccoon creatures so you could take pictures up close but didn't explain anything about them, I had to ask another tourist the name of the animal- mapaches. Then we had the misfortune of stopping at the "private" beach that was a little overcrowded Island. Please just take me back to Mambo Beach where the water is beautiful.
A great time!
Franklin and the crew did a really great job of bringing good energy, answering questions and taking care of folks. The snorkeling was fun - we saw some iridescent fish. Bring sunscreen or wear a shirt! The UV exposure is intense.
Beautiful landscapes
I loved it, beautiful landscapes. Excellent guide Franklin, an unforgettable experience. Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters is unforgettable.
Great experience
It was all very fun and entertaining. The views are very beautiful. The guide Franklyn always had a very good attitude and a great command of both languages (Spanish and English). It was a good day.
