Day 1: Cairo and Giza Start with pickup at 4:00 AM from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. Transfer to the airport for a 50-minute flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo airport, meet your guide who will be holding a sign with your name in the arrivals halls. Start your full-day tour by first visiting the iconic Pyramids of Giza. Get a close-up look at The Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren. After discovering the wonders of the Giza pyramid complex, enjoy a lunch in a local restaurant. Continue the day tour at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in the city of Cairo. Discover the largest and most precious items of Egyptian art in the world. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to King Tutankhamun. See a collection of treasures, gold, and jewellery that were buried in his tomb for over 3500 years. Next, visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Explore the numerous shops in the district that are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more. Be transferred to your hotel in Cairo where you will check-in and spend the night.
Day 2: Alexandria Get breakfast at the hotel then begin the drive to Alexandria at approximately 7:00 AM. Arrive in Alexandria at 10:00 AM and begin your day tour by first visiting the Roman Theater. Built to house up to 800 spectators, the site features various galleries, mosaic flooring, and a beautiful garden. Next, visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa. This three-tiered necropolis consists of a series of Alexandrian tombs, statues and archaeological objects of the Pharaonic funeral cult. See the modern library of Alexandria, the Citadel of Qaitbay, and El Abbas El Mursi Mosque. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, and then make your way to Cairo airport for your flight back to Sharm El Sheikh. Be transferred back to your hotel upon your arrival at the airport.
