This tour visits the crab field in Alta Fjord, where the red king crab is caught in a box-shaped trap called a "pot". The pot is lifted from the water and brought to the boat. Your captain will demonstrates how to handle the crab. Touch the crab gently and take photos with it.

The tour offers the opportunity to not just see a live red king crab up close and have your giant crab photo taken, but even invites you to touch and lift a giant red king crab. If you rather prefer to just observe, do so while you enjoy the Arctic sea breeze of the exotic Alta Fjord.
