Your day begins with a 30-minute or 1-hour or airboat tour deep into the 4,200 acres (1,699 hectares) of protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades. Your US Coast Guard captain will give you an in-depth look at the gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that make up these beautiful wetlands. Not what I expected
It was a nice boat ride on a beautiful day. We saw birds as we rode through the grass along the lake. It was not what I expected. I thought that there would be some fast parts, but the difference that I am told is that this was more sightseeing nature. When I thought Everglades, I wasn’t thinking of riding a lake.
A Florida Gem
I booked a ticket for the airboat ride for my grandson and me while we were staying in Orlando. It ended up being a great decision. We had a fantastic day. The airboat trip was an adventure that we will never forget, but the real gem for the day was Wild Florida. The team made us feel welcome and they look like they are really enjoying what they do. The alligator exhibits were extraordinary and allowed my grandson to actually feed them-something that we would never have imagined. However, the bird aviary was where we spent the most time. We were able to feed the bids and have them land on our hands and heads. My grandson looked like St Frances of Assisi with birds all over him. We had a blast. I would highly recommend the Airboat Tour and Wild Florida. You will love it like we did.

The boat ride was fun. The guide did tell us with the heat and the drought that we may not see very many gators.

The highlight of our trip.
I’m y family had the best experience at Wild Florida. It was well worth the money spent. We had a blast on the air boats. We saw a moody Alligator protecting her babies. We also saw a baby alligator. Captain Alex was awesome. He zoomed in and out of the water and made it fun! What stood out that most was the customer service. We have been in Florida for a week and have had terrible service everywhere we went. Wild Florida changed my perspective on people in Florida…there is hope. Moreover, Lee was very helpful in the gift shop. It was an all-around great experience and the highlight of our trip.
