Reviews
Our guide was very knowledgeable and moved at a perfect pace for the group of 8..She shared maps and photos of the area while providing a historical framework which I found very helpful to create an image of what once existed and its purpose.
The tour was great as we could skip the lines and our guide Tatiana was replacing chatgpt, she is a walking encyclopedia and knows eveything of the history of Rome and Vatican. I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family.
We absolutely LOVED Rocco!! He was everything you could want in a tour guide — incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history, but also absolutely hilarious. 😂 You can genuinely tell how much he loves what he does, and his energy and humor made the entire experience so much fun. We also loved the small group size — there were only six of us, which made the tour feel so much more personal and engaging. It was easy to hear everything, ask questions, and really feel involved throughout the experience rather than getting lost in a huge tour group. We visited in early September and it was around 95°F, so walking through the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum could have easily been exhausting. Rocco was incredibly conscientious about making sure everyone was drinking enough water, stopping to refill our bottles, and finding shady spots whenever possible. He really looked out for the group, which we appreciated so much! He taught us a ton without ever making the tour feel like a history lecture. He kept us entertained, laughing, and engaged the entire time — even in that heat! He also took photos of us along the way, which was such a thoughtful touch and gave us some great memories from the day. Rocco truly made this experience for us. Passionate, knowledgeable, hilarious, personable, and genuinely caring — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you have the chance to take a tour with him, DO IT! We would recommend him in a heartbeat!
