Itinerary
Since its beginning during the Middle Ages, the Piazza della Signoria has been the political heart of the city.
The central square of Florence
The most important church of Florence
Want to learn where the Medici started to conquer the city from? But it's from San Lorenzo of course! This church is one of the oldest and most stunning, but ignored due to its missing façade. This district is also home to the vibrant Central Food Market, definitely a must see on your trip!
One of the most charming squares of the city
Pass by: We ride across Florence's "5th Avenue" - shiny brass and designer labels!
Learn the history of this iconic bridge
Learn what makes the "coolest neighborhood" such a special place! Breath the authentic Florentine life, locals sitting at caffès after their morning grocery shopping, local open market but admire also the church where Michelangelo learned it all!
This majestic palace is built on a natural hill, making it even more impressive. Its story starts long ago, when a family wanted to show off its money but ended up poor from all the expenses the construction required!
Why was Florence's oldest bridge spared from bombing in WW2? Why were the butchers forced to leave and what does it have to do with a secret corridor? The answers to these and many more jaw-dropping historical nuggets
Piazza Santa Croce is one of the main plazas or squares located in the central neighborhood of Florence, where you can spot the burial site of famous Italians like Galileo and Michelangelo.
Pass by: Return to our office, drop off the bikes, use the toilette, login to wifi, ask your guides for suggestions!

Awesome Fun!
We had a great time on this tour! Our guide Veronica was amazing! So friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A good guide is usually the difference between a fun time or not. If all Fat Tire tour guides are as good as Verinica I can highly recommend this company.
Excellent company and a great experience.
Fat Tire tours are a great friendly company with Nadia a great guide, very pleasant and good English speaker.
Brilliant
It was brilliant fun and great way of getting around Florence quickly and seeing lots more. The guide was fantastic and so informative.
Awesome
Our guide was great, he made the effort to explain the visit to us in French for a tour booked in English. The city is sublime. The scooter tour we loved
Super fun e-scooter tour
We had a great time scootering and laughing with Andreas. He was a terrific guide, very knowledgeable about Florence history and all the statues, fountains and museums (and movies set in Florence too.)
