We stop at the rear of the Dome and learn about the time it was struck by lightning, sending the orb crashing to the ground... can you find the spot in the bricks??
Want to learn where the Medici started to conquer the city? But it's from San Lorenzo of course! This church is one of the oldest and most stunning, but ignored due to its missing façade. This district is also home to the vibrant Central Food Market, definitely a must see on your trip!
Our guides will help you decipher the secret codes hidden in the facade of the beautiful Church which dominates this garden square, the home of the Dominicans. Free time for a walk around and a drink...

Learn what makes the "coolest neighborhood" such a special place! Breath the authentic Florentine life, locals sitting at caffès after their morning grocery shopping, local open market but admire also the church where Michelangelo learned it all!
This majestic palace is built on a natural hill, making it even more impressive. Its story starts long ago, when a family wanted to show off its money but ended up poor from all the expenses the construction required!
Why was Florence's oldest bridge spared from bombing in WW2? Why were the butchers forced to leave and what does it have to do with a secret corridor? The answers to these and many more jaw-dropping historical nuggets
One of the bloodiest sports still played in the world happens on this square...

Traveler reviews
Be careful
It is out in traffic but manageable. Bouncy rides but no real hills. The info is interesting if heavily slanted as you might expect. They take their job seriously, taking care of you and answering questions.
Perfect introduction to Florence for our family of 4 (kids age 10 and 12)
Fantastic tour of Florence. Great bikes, no need for e-bike upgrade. The tour was informative, fun, entertaining and even included a gelato stop! Our guide, Giovanni, was fantastic and did a great job keeping us safe and giving us the history. We traveled with our 2 kids (ages 10 and 12) who have experience riding bikes in US streets with cars, but this was next level. We still felt safe and had a great experience. It was a great experience, only about 4 miles of riding, but lots of great information and fun a long the way. Thanks Giovanni!
Ride through the busy streets of Florence
The equipment was well maintained and very functional. Having headphones to hear the guide explaining things is always helpful. July is a very busy month in Florence. Writing through the streets and popular tourist areas was quite challenging.. We did the 9:30 AM tour, many people were already on the streets. I would recommend doing an early morning tour to avoid the crowds
Fun and informational
Great time, great tour of the highlights of Florence. Our guide was Alex/Allessandra. The radio headset each person wore made it very easy to hear her and to feel part of the group. I’ve done many group tours and this was the first where I could say that- usually the people in the back of the group can’t quite hear. She looked out for everyone’s safety and gave us some insight into the differences between osterias and cafes and restaurants. We heard some fun facts about the very, very violent game of Florentine Soccer. Very worth doing this tour- it was a nice introduction to this beautiful city.
Florence - Getting to know you!
Great morning spent biking through the various areas of Florence. Good way to get an overall orientation with plenty of history and information along the way and then decide what you would like to explore further on your own. Had a great guide and a great activity.
