Brilliant family experience
Really didn’t know what to expect when booking this as I’ve had bad Jeep safari experiences previously, but, I’m so glad I did book, this was a holiday highlight. The whole trip was expertly organised by Errol who was in full control on the day and made sure everybody was safe and we had enough time to explore everything. Each stop was great and we especially enjoyed the tubing, but, the most fun was the Jeep vs Jeep water fight it’s mayhem and a brilliant laugh. Having never had a good Jeep safari experience before this, I would safely say that I’d do this again. Fun. Safe. Excellent value for money and good food provided too including plenty for my wife who is coeliac!
Poor description.
The description of the tour bears little relation to the trip - I was expecting to be told something about the area, shown some of the interesting features. I also expected to be travelling in a Landrover rather than a dubiously modified transit van. Had I known that the trip involved getting soaked multiple times through water fights, subjected to distorted and unnecessarily loud music in between locations where I was invited to spend more money on various rides / experiences, I probably would not have booked it. It was really awkward and embarrassing at the end when someone thrust a hat in front of everyone looking for a tip. That said, the lunch was very tasty and in nice surroundings. The views were spectacular and our driver went out of his way to show us some of the sights on the way back to Fethiye. He earned his own tip without having to ask.
Avoid this tour
This is labelled a safari it’s not it’s a van with its sides cut out and the tour guide taking you to his pals places , the mud bath is a pit of muck beside the road , all activities are extra the only positive was the food to be honest My daughter also fell getting out of the van as the steps were wet , she feel back and nearly broke her back. We couldn’t wait for the tour to finish it was so crap and I have gone on many tours and this was by far the worst
An unforgettable experience
I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when buying this trip the day before we went but it was an incredible experience. Ice breaker of a water fight was a great way to start and got you ready for a wet day haha. Zip lining was awesome and beware the camera man as he will get you at an awkward angle so prepare for an expose experience. The water rafting was raw and real. A tube, a paddle and a prayer had me spinning wildly and laughing at my fiancé trying to capture a nice video but only catching me cackling like a mad witch beyblading down the river. We had an authentic lunch with new puppies roaming, a woman plucking chickens for dinner and a smell of grilled meat filling your nose. All sitting on a colorful cushioned area next to the water. It was a true look at local life. With the canyon walk and mud bath still to go, I truly enjoyed the experience more than I ever believed I would have. The three guides made an exciting experience unforgettable. Tips - it’s a weird subject. Local guides live off tips while saving wages for the winter months when no trips are booked. For those who feel weird tipping too high or low, the average tip is around 400-500TL the equivalent of about 10 euro or thereabouts. Considering the whole trip cost 24 for the 8 or so hours I really do think it’s warranted and earned. They do an incredible job. Tip 2. Get the water proof pouch for your phone or wallet. You need it. Tip 3. If under a size 10 you can get Gel shoes. Get them. They are a life saver. Otherwise wear a throwaway pair or runners. Flip flops will not do the job you need.
Great Experience
