In interactive spaces of arts, science and knowledge, the visitor travels for the creation of the universe, for our nature, for physics and much more. Nothing is left out, from the atom to the largest planet in the Solar System; from the smallest insect to the largest animals on Earth; from the laws of physics to chemical transformations; from the ecosystem to the environmental preservation ... Everything presented in a playful way, to make the visit a pleasant trip to the world of knowledge and culture. A good choice to entertain the little ones.
The São Paulo Zoo is considered one of the ten best in the world, especially for the diversity of animals it houses. It is one of the few in the world to have a complete collection of cats and apes. It has rarities and endangered animals, such as the golden lion tamarin and the giant anteater. There are more than 3200 animals of hundreds of species such as lions, tigers, jaguars, hippos, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, foxes, wolves, snakes, tapirs, turtles, ostriches, peacocks, chimpanzees, gorillas, bears, alligators, orangutans, dromedaries and many others.
São Paulo Aquarium has a total of 15 thousand m² and 4 million liters of water where thousands of animals of hundreds of species live. The aquarium is well structured and is divided into sectors that reproduce the animals natural habitat. In the first part, the scenario is confused with a submarine and a shipwreck. There is still the sector of Patagonia Argentina and Igarapé of Amazon forest, but in a certain area, they make us “enter an airport” and move to the Australian, African and Indonesian sectors. In addition to marine animals such as sharks, penguins, rays, turtles, sea lions, seals and hundreds of species of fish, the aquarium also houses land species such as lemurs, meerkats, monkeys, koalas, lizards, kangaroos and even a couple of polar bears.

Another curiosity is Charles Darwin's theory explained in panels, with a selection of skulls from hominids to homo sapiens - quite a lesson on the evolution of species!
Do you know what it's like to be inside a beehive? How would it feel to see hundreds of bees at work? To kill these curiosities, the Museum of the Biological Institute has more than 25 attractions to learn about the way of life of bees, to see up close four species of stingless bees, to watch cockroaches speeding, caterpillars weaving silk threads, ants working in organized system and the stick insect, which resembles kindling. Great guides for a great city
My hubby and I took two private tours with the company: one in Parque Itaim to bird watch (day 1) and one to the zoo and botanical gardens (day 2). Day 1: The guide (Denis) and the ornithologist (Kleber) were FANTASTIC! They stayed with our pace, we saw >60 bird species, and had a lovely lunch and conversations. Day 2: Ricardo was also amazing. He was very easy going and nice to talk to, even though he wasn't into bird watching. He even gave us tips for our trip to Rio!
Knowing SP as it is
Our full day exploring São Paulo with Danilo as our guide was truly amazing! Not only did he prove to be an expert on history and culture, he was also flexible and tailored the tour to suit our group's interests. We started with a visit to Ibirapuera Park, where our guide led us through the gardens and monuments, sharing fascinating stories and facts about this stunning green space in the heart of the city. We visited several tourist attractions in the city, including a visit to the Ipiranga Museum, where Danilo shared fascinating insights into the art on display. Masp had an incredible mix of artists, the Zoology Museum was a unique educational experience, and the visit to the Butantã Institute left us amazed by its reptile exhibits. The escape room session was an exciting and fun touch at the end of the day, I recommend this choice to anyone who has never done it before. And as for food, the Chinese restaurant suggested by our guide had authentic and delicious dishes that reflected the city's cultural richness. Danilo, once again, showed his passion for São Paulo and his ability to make each stop on the tour memorable. A whole day full of discoveries thanks to a truly exceptional guide! 👏🏙️🎨 🌳🦁🍽️
