Saqqara is one of several other notable necropolis sites near Cairo that offer impressive sights and hold great archaeological significance. The most famous structure there is Djoser’s Step Pyramid. The world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. It is the first pyramid built in Egypt and it is also the first large-scale cut-stone structure in the world
Dahshur is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt holds many famous Pyramids of king snefru. The site is about 40 km from Cairo. Where you will Visit the Great Pyramid Tour of Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. Once in a lifetime experience and highly recommend
I contacted memphis tours with my own itinerary for my son's senior trip. I just wanted some help with timing guides, and drivers as we were spending 10 days there. Visit to Cairo and sailing on the Nile: the tour was excellent, organized in detail. The boat was very beautiful and the staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotels in Cairo were stunning. The tour guides (I thank Adel who was with us for 5 days) accompanied us with detailed descriptions told with passion. The entire experience was very positive. Great Egypt vacation
They made this trip so easy for us. Monica was at the airport to help us through customs and check us in at the airport. The accomodations were amazing. The sights were spectacular. Tarek was a great guide. I learned so much. One of the best vacations ever.
Great travel day
This is a great tour and you will meet some great people and great history. The area is close to a lot if great things to see and do. Makes fir a great center point to use to do other tours from also. Not a crazy city like Cairo with it's busseling traffic.
