Itinerary
Pass by: Discover Florence's best kept secret - the Vasari Corridor! First, head to Via Cavour 12 black, where your local, art-loving guide will be waiting for you. Then, follow your guide to the nearby Uffizi Gallery and Vasari Corridor
The adventure will begin inside the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most famous and celebrated museums in the world. Here, your fully licensed guide will lead you through a priceless collection of Renaissance art, with masterpieces by iconic painters such as Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli and Michelangelo, to name but a few. Every room, every painting and sculpture contains fascinating stories and details that unveil the art and culture of the Italian Renaissance.
After exploring the Uffizi Gallery, your experience will continue with the Vasari Corridor. Please note that, due to museum regulations, the guide will not be able to provide explanations inside the Corridor. However, you will have the privilege of admiring ancient and modern Florence from above. Walking along the Corridor, you will be able to take in breathtaking panoramic views of Ponte Vecchio, the Arno River and the Oltrarno district. It will be like stepping back in time, reliving the thrill of moving through the same places and in such an exclusive setting that was once reserved only for royal members as the Medici family. The experience will end by passing through the door located next to the suggestive Grotta del Buontalenti, inside the marvellous Boboli Gardens. From here, together with your guide, you will have the opportunity to retrace the Vasari Corridor by observing it from the outside, appreciating the architectural details such as the passage around the Mannelli Tower.
The Vasari Corridor walk will last 30 minutes and will allow you to reach the Boboli Gardens away from the crowds, just as the Medici did centuries ago. The exit will be alongside the Buontalenti Fountain, a masterpiece of Mannerist sculpture that offers us a fascinating fusion of architecture, painting and sculpture. Once out, follow your private guide back to Piazza Signoria on a walk back along the Vasari Corridor, which will allow you to admire this work of art from the outside as well, making your experience even more complete.

Traveler reviews
Appalling mess up
We booked the Ufizi plus Corridior tour. When we got to the entry to the Corridor after the gallery, we found the tour company had printed the wrong date on our tickets (only us, the 7 others in group sailed through). The tickets were only handed to us by the guide as were to enter. The tour guide who was great, tried very hard but after being stuck at the entrence for 1 hr & 15mins we were sent away. The corridor was our reason for the tour and we had come to Florence specifically for this day only and were staying 1.5 hr train trip away. We could not return on another day. Ciao Florence the tour operator were very sorry for their mistake BUT were only prepared to refund a % of the tour cost saying they had offered us other complim trips instead NONE OF WHICH WE COULD TAKE AS WE HAD ONLY 1. 5 HRS BEFORE HAVING TO LEAVE FLORENCE THAT DAY BY TRAIN. Our trip to Florence was ruined and having spent so long at the Corridor entrence, we had little time to see or do anything else. Everybody makes mistakes, and the best way to judge them is to see what sought of response there would be to respond to our mess The response was appalling with no recognition of the mess their mistake made, leaving us with no time to do what we set out to do. Refunding a portion of the cost completely missed the point of the disuption their midtake msde to us. Appalling.
Great tour
Overall was a great adventure. We skipped the line, Elena was very knowledagble and hit all the high points. Would recommend the Uffuzi museum and Vasari Corridor if you are visiting Florence, Italy. Easily handled some of our group with accessibility needs.
First class tour guide
An excellent tour! Our guide was first class, pleasant and informative. The tour was well paced and gave us time for photographs.
Excellent guide and great...
Excellent guide and great experience. We were the only two in group and it was the best to have that connection
