Know before you go
- This tour meets 15 minutes prior to the start time. No refunds can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows.
- This is a walking tour, guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty. We encourage appropriate footwear for uneven surfaces.
- Tours run rain or shine. Ponchos are available on City Cruises Boat and Journey Behind the Falls. You will get close to the waterfall. Be prepared to get wet.
- All guests must pass through security.
- Limited restroom availability, please go prior to your tour and ensure you are ready for the tour when you arrive at the meeting point.
- We recommend purchasing parking in advance. Daily parking passes are available for all major Niagara Parks lots; please visit the Niagara Parks website for further information.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

- Parking: We recommend parking at 5400 Robinson Street. Please note this parking lot is a 10-minute walk from the meeting point and includes a set of steep stairs on the route.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations received greater than 72 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable. Cancellations received within 72 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable. Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive or arrives after tour departure.

If you’re reading this, book it now! You’ll be one of the first on the boat and get the best spot before anyone else. Daniela (aka “Daniel”) treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. Her knowledge of the falls and the stories behind them was the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. She keeps you laughing throughout the tour and enjoys the experience right alongside you as if it were her first time seeing it. 10/10 — I would recommend this tour to anyone. As an added bonus, our group had only four people, which made the experience absolutely incredible and much more personal. Thanks again, Daniel! 😉
I booked this tour through the AirBnB app. Unfortunately the tour company never received my paid booking information and so I was not notified of the time change. We showed up an hour earlier than the new time. I was very frustrated but Olivia from Walks handled it very well and made sure we were able to get on the tour. We had a fabulous time and my frustration was melted away. Not sure how to make sure this doesn’t happen again as I did receive all the email confirmations from AirBnB, just not from the actual tour company. We walked over 8miles from our parking spot to the meeting location as well as everywhere else. It actually worked out well where we parked as that’s where the end of the tour was! Overall, it was a great experience that I believe everyone should go on.
