Exclusive 2-Day Angkor Temples Tour

I found Journey Cambodia through recommendations here, and was not disappointed. I arranged airport transfers and a 2-day private temple tour. From my pre-booking questions to make tour decisions, through their proactive double-check of my flight details the day before, to on-the-day execution, everything was smooth. Drivers/guide arrived early on all occasions. My guide (Mr. Sok) was excellent—not just knowledgeable, but passionate about his country, culture, and history. Also, readily honored my request for a little time on my own at some sites for some more detailed photography. And he cheerfully fielded my constant stream of questions! A great partner in learning the complex history of this remarkable part of the world. Drivers were wonderfully attentive with water and towels at every stop. Good value too (almost everything in Siem Reap was quite economically priced, though visiting in low season may have helped). Highly recommended.

We had a great time in the 2 day temple excursion. The visits were fantastic and so rich, but the service offered was incredible. Air conditioned bus in a 37o degree heat with cold wet towels and cold water waiting for us after every stop were such a plus in the whole experience. And our driver and guide Chhay were definitely the best part — always with a smile and kind service, and so much knowledge. We would definitely recommend booking!

Wonderful two days time in Siem Riep exploring the awe inspiring temples. Was a highlight to see Ankor Wat sunrise this morning from a good position, chosen by knowledgeable and lovely guide Chaay. Was Also great to be greeted with a cold towel and cold bottle of water each time returning to the bus by very kind bus driver. Chaay also willingly and enthusiastically answered questions and conversation topics from the small group of 6 of us on Cambodian life, culture and religion. Only small disappointment was not seeing a true sunset The first day at last temple, however Chaay explained that weather wouldn't have rewarded us for the wait and exit point from here would have been too hazardous to walk down after sunset also.

Really enjoyed our two days touring Siem Reap’s temples with Mr Sokpee and Journey Cambodia. This tour was a great way to see the best of Cambodia’s archeological heritage. Mr Sokpee was very knowledgeable about the temples’ history and also considered the little (but important!) things like toilet breaks, hydration and where to get the best photos. His insights into contemporary Cambodian life were very informative. Highly recommend this tour!
