The temple of Artemis or Artemision was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its ancient cult dedicated to Artemis was very famous in antiquity and made Ephesus a much-visited pilgrimage place. There were totally 127 ionic columns with a height of 19m. The temple is also considered to be the earliest bank of the ancient world

Great day at Epheseus

A terrific experience. Our guide Hati was knowledgeable, very informative and very friendly. The small group experience much more efficient and personal than a large group trying to navigate the ruins of Ephesus. Overall a terrific half day, thanks to Hati and our mini bus driver.

Isik was the perfect guide. She stopped at every important stop to explain. She was also nice in the small talk and even knel a few Words dutch which was also nice.

Ephesus Tour
