- Bags over 30L in volume are not permitted inside the castle and the castle does not provide a locker system for the storage of luggage.
- Tour DOES NOT MEET AT THE CASTLE, the tour begins from our start point at 192 High Street, by the statue of Adam Smith
- Please Note - Children, aged 15 and under, will not be able to join the tour unless accompanied by a responsible adult

Max for Castle tours!
Max was our guide- outstanding! Great projection, excellent explanations, great group management, succinct history and memorable historical stories. Who knew St Andrew was crucified on angle? Fab tour on a slightly soggy day, didn't dampen our enthusiasm!

Absolutely amazing experience, our tour guide was Matthew very nice guy amazing sense of humor it doesn't feel like a simple history lesson but an entertaining story with some jokes interesting facts great story telling the whole groupe was laughing throughout the whole tour big thanks to Matthew for making it so memorable definitely recommend 👍👍🤍🤍
