Great Experience

We had a wonderful tour and the guide was extremely knowledgeable!

Use operator as a Trojan horse to get in

Guide was creative but also seemed like she was yelling at people with her Eastern European accent. Ultimately I got in and got to see the castle. It’s way over crowded and it seems that tour operators but up all the tickets which makes it impossible to just buy entry tickets on your own.

Perfect for visitors!

Jen was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide! You can tell she loves her job and does a wonderful job keeping people engaged. Jen’s background knowledge of the military was very helpful when explaining aspects of the castle and its operations. The tour was very informative and helped people with little knowledge of the castle develop a good understanding of the history and structure. I highly recommend to visitors!

The best morning!

Our tour with Nick was a perfect way to spend our first morning in Edinburgh! He was so knowledgeable about the city, its history, and everything to check out once you’re in the castle. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an exciting introduction to Edinburgh!
