Traveler reviews
Starting early was worth the quieter beaches
Leaving early helped us enjoy Maya Bay before it became busy. The speedboat moved efficiently between stops and there was enough time to swim and relax. The sea became a bit choppy later, but the crew handled it well.

Great experience! Tour guide was great!
Amazing experience
It was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was well organised and the all staff were very friendly and helpful. The snorkeling spots were beautiful with crystal clear water and lots of colorful fish. We visited several stunning locations around the islands, and each stop was breathtaking. The guides made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, and they were very attentive throughout the trip. It was such a memorable experience for us. If youβre visiting Phi Phi island and love the ocean, I highly recommend this tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand!
Excellent trip with a great guide who was really knowledgable, thank you Joe ππΌππΌ
A really excellent trip, well organised. Seeing Maya Bay early before the crowds was fantastic. The snorkelling opportunities were really good. Stopping at Bamboo Island for lunch and the opportunity for a swim was excellent as the beaches and water is really beautiful. Our guide Joe was excellent, taking time to provide information and best areas for snorkelling, thank you Joe ππΌππΌ
There are certainly better tours if you really need to see Maya Bay...
We booked the 8-hour tour, which seemed too long for us. The National Park to Maya Bay opens at 07:00 and just before New Year's Eve there were already 10 boats. By 10:00, Maya Bay was already closed, as 4000 visitors were there. It was not a lonely beach, also missing the sun in Maya Bay until our departure at 08:00. Although the photos show otherwise, you can't even go down to your knees in the water in Maya Bay. There are watchers with whistles everywhere. The rest of the tour was not so spectacular. Worst were the 2 hours over noon on Bamboo Island. Totally crowded, swimming only with life jacket in a small cordoned area. The guide was a bit rugged and rude, we had to change boats during the tour and carry all our luggage for 1 hour and for lunch we had cold rice in a polystyrene box. I recommend either booking the shorter 6-hour tour or a later one where you can see the sun in Maya Bay and having something to eat and spices to take with you.
