Take a boat tour to see Hook Lighthouse from the Sea! We will take you on a breath-taking guided boat tour of the Waterford and Wexford Coastline, where you will enjoy tales of Vikings and smugglers as well as meeting first hand some of the marine life that we share the coast with.If you are lucky, you will see dolphins and seals, and plenty of sea birds. The Waterford and Wexford coast is steeped in Maritime History, you will hear where the term 'By Hook or by Crooke' came from, how in 1645 Irish rebels fought and sank the flagship of the English Navy, still lying today beneath the sands. Visit a sea cave where ancient people brought the bones of their dead to enable their passage to the other world, and to top your tour off, some high speed manoeuvres in our Rigid Inflatable Boat - 'Vadrefjord' Boat tour - approximately 1 hour on the water, a safety brief is mandatory prior to boarding. Arrive 30 minutes before your tour time to allow for equipment allocation and safety brief.

Brilliant Sea Safari – Highly Recommend!

We had an absolutely brilliant time on the Sea Safari in Dunmore East. Rupert was an amazing guide — incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. He gave us a fantastic tour of the area, sharing loads of interesting history and geography along the way. I especially loved seeing all the different birds and wildlife, and the faster parts of the trip were great fun — the speed really added to the experience! The tour went well over the advertised hour and Rupert was brilliant at helping us take lots of great family photos, which was such a lovely bonus and gave us some great memories of the day. A fantastic experience from start to finish and definitely one of the highlights of Summer. We would highly recommend the Sea Safari to anyone visiting Dunmore East. Thanks Rupert for a really memorable trip!

Brilliant Guide! Brilliant Tour!

The Sea Safari tour was amazing, Rupert was a brilliant guide, who kept us very well informed of the local history. Altogether it was an incredible adventure around the Waterford Estuary.
