I arranged for pickup at 8am and was picked up exactly at this time. For some reason the driver went in the opposite direction from the airport back to the Old Town. This took an extra 15 minutes or more out of the way. I don’t understand why this happened. The company did not provide a good explanation. For whatever reason, this side-trip should have been handled without interfering with my travel plans. I already had to choose a later time for pick up, and this made me even later to the airport and just wasted my time. I was also the only one who booked the shared transport so they wanted to charge me double. I am glad I at least only paid $29 but that is still expensive for a 16 minute drive.
