Start your visit with a tour of the Dubrovnik City Walls!
We had a fantastic experience with Dubrovnik Walking Tours. Our guide, Ðuro, was wonderful, and being with him on the city walls was the perfect way to begin our time in Dubrovnik. Ðuro is passionate about Croatia and Dubrovnik and wants to share that passion with his guests. Plus, he brings a unique perspective to his narrative from having lived abroad and from having family who lived - and fought - in Dubrovnik during the civil war. We learned so much about the fascinating ancient and more recent history of Dubrovnik - with a little Game of Thrones added for variety. It’s obvious Ðuro has a desire to continue to refine his craft and expand his knowledge, which enriches the experience for guests fortunate to have him as their guide. If he is representative of the guides who work for your company, you are doing something right! Ðuro is a star and I will enthusiastically recommend a tour with him and Dubrovnik Walking Tours to anyone I know who plans to visit this beautiful city.
Great tour
Great way to start our time and Dubrovnik learn a little bit about the history walk the historic walls and get a little bit of Game of Thrones law include included in the mix. Our guide Edi was great at keeping the whole group engaged, using fact blended with humor to help us understand the complex history of Croatia Would recommend
Walking Tour of the Walls, Dubrovnik
We joined a small group close to the walls and our Guide, Davor, handed out headsets and helped everyone get set up. Everyone had already bought their tickets to enter the walls so it was quick and easy to get through the entrance. Davor was a really excellent guide, it kept us all intrigued and interested for the whole tour, which was over an hour. When we were hit by a rain storm Davor organised rain capes for us all and offered exit plans for anyone who wanted to finish early. We really recommend this tour, it was interesting and gave a great insight into the history of Dubrovnik which I wouldn't have learnt otherwise.
History and culture..with a personal touch!
Fantastic way to see Dubrovnik Old City! Ermina was Incredible guide for my husband and I to learn about the city, the culture of Dubrovnik, Croatia and surrounding areas. Ermina was friendly, engaging and so well educated on the area! What an enjoyable and memorable experience! And SO much better to do a private tour than with a large group- highly recommend!
Guide never showed up
Guide never showed up. After waiting 15-20 min at the meeting place, I messaged Viator who said they couldn’t get a replacement for another hour, which didn’t work with our itinerary. They apologized and refunded me, but definitely a disappointment and we didn’t get the experience we were hoping for. The walking of the walls offers beautiful views though!
