Great Experience with Declan
We had a great “Fast-Track Book of Kells Ticket & Dublin Castle Tour” with our tour guide, Declan. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and most importantly, he answered all of my questions with patience and enthusiasm. Thank you for a short but very memorable tour. The “Long Room” was absolutely the highlight of the experience. Truly stunning, and I am very glad we decided to do this tour.
Skip the Guinness Storehouse
Our guide was informative and knows his stuff, but was also condescending and somewhat rude. This tour involves fairly extensive walking which we knew, however, our guide is very tall with a long stride and walks quickly on very crowded streets which makes it difficult to not get separated. He never looked back once which left a number of us trapped by a streetlight then running through the crowds to catch up. Turn around periodically and make sure everyone is together! We’ve been on tons of Viator tours and never before had a complaint about the guide. I would forget the Guinness stop—it’s super crowded, you do not get to see where they do the brewing, and is just a bunch of shops and videos about the brewing process. St Pat’s and Trinity College were great
Top notch city tour
This tour was top notch. We learned so much from the tour guide and he was fun as well! Highly recommend!
Join Richard for a tour!
Richard was great! He awas informative, fun, and know Dublin well. We saw St Pat, Dublin Castle and the book of Kells. He provided personal recommendations and a great tour and guide...the 3+ hours flew by. Highly recommend!
A great tour
This was a very fun tour! The guide was lovely en gave us a lot of info! English is not my first language so sometimes I really needed to focus to comprehend her story and that in combination with all the walking can make you tired. So make sure you come well rested!
