Mentally exhausted
The scenery and logistics were great. I thought we had ample time in all places and got their safely with time to do our own thing. However, the journey to these places was a bit grueling. I love the kindness and energy of our tour guide, but at times it was a bit too much. He imitated silly accents, talked about marrying our bus driver almost incessantly, and just would not rest. The info was mostly good but I was exhausted by the end of this trip. He was non-stop talking the entire time. I think we had 10 minutes of quiet time on the way back? The rest was him talking, rambling, joking, and at one point even singing to us over the mic. It got to be too much and I was so ready to get off that bus. Again, nice guy, great attitude, just needed him to tone it down and also recognize that people are TIRED on the way back to Dublin. Silence is sometimes golden, even on a guide led tour. We cannot listen as much as on the way there.

Was difficult to find the bus in Klinenny, but luckily they called me and got my location and picked me up.
Do not use Collins Bus Tour
Phillip [narrator] made rude comment against females [before leaving city limits of Dublin]. Because of reaction, tried to play off as joke … I was done.
Ireland ramble
Mac did a lovely job of filling us in on Irish history starting in Dublin. He gave us a wealth of information and also sang some traditional Irish songs! Instructions were VERY clear (so no one missed the bus). Good recommendations on things to do. We had a great time!

The tour was great (although quick; you have to be careful with the pace in each place) and Pat was very informative, non-boring, educated and passionate to both telling the stories but also answering every single question. Would recommend for sure! Alec is a good driver and told me info about an Irish sport (photo attached of the ball) called Hurling / Camogie!!
