Perched dramatically on a basalt outcrop along the north coast of Antrim, Dunluce Castle was once the seat of the MacDonnell clan and has stood as a striking coastal fortress since the 13th century. With a rich history shaped by Viking, medieval, and later influences, the castle remains one of the most iconic landmarks on the Antrim Coast. Its rugged setting overlooking the North Atlantic has made it famous not only in Irish history but also in popular culture, featuring in Game of Thrones as Pyke and inspiring C.S. Lewis in The Chronicles of Narnia. Please note: this is a photo stop only. There is no entry to the castle included, but there will be time to take photos and enjoy the views.

Discover one of Ireland’s most unforgettable natural wonders at the breathtaking Giant’s Causeway. Step out onto a landscape like no other, where over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns stretch out into the Atlantic Ocean. Most of these unique formations are hexagonal, creating what looks like a giant stone pathway leading straight across the sea. According to legend, this was the work of the Irish giant Finn McCool, who built the causeway to cross to Scotland and face his rival in battle. Whether you believe , the reality is just as impressive. Formed over 60 million years ago by volcanic activity, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a masterpiece of nature and one of the most photographed locations in Ireland. Walk across the famous stones, explore the surrounding cliffs, and soak in the raw beauty of the North Atlantic coastline. The Giant’s Causeway is a true highlight of any trip to Northern Ireland. It’s a must-see experience that stays with you long after you leave.

Famous for its appearance in Game of Thrones as the King’s Road, and also featured in Transformers: The Last Knight, the Dark Hedges is a must-see for fans of film and photography alike. A great tour with an amazing guide

We really enjoyed the tour and the different sites we visited. The tour guide was very competent and paired his explanations with witty remarks, which lightened the mood - something that could get a bit tense on such a long ride. Even though we would've liked to stay a bit longer in Belfast, it's still fine as it was, since we got to see other parts of the north of Ireland, which are definitely worth visiting. We can therefore only recommend doing the tour with Jacob as guide and Dass as driver.

A packed day with lots to see

The tour was really interesting and informative! Jacob is an amazing tour guide who added to most facts a funny side joke (that were actually funny). I especially liked the overview about the troubles. He told it from a personal point of view, which sometimes gave me goose bumps. Dass, the bus driver, took us reliably to ever destination through some narrow streets and corners. For the tour itself is good if you want to see some special places northern Ireland has to offer. Yet, on such bus tours you’ve rarely got enough time to experience everything without any kind of time pressure, since you have a schedule to follow for such a packed day. It was still great to explore & see so much in just one day! For me it definitely rose the desire to explore of Northern Ireland!

Early morning and long day, but fully worth it

Amazing tour if you want to get a nice (little, obviously) overview of Northern Ireland. The Causeway and Dunluce Castel/other really short stops and all of the scenery was incredible to see and be at, however, the time for every stop was really short timed - due to the fact to be back on time in Dublin in the evening and not starting at midnight, and 6:45am is already really early ... (But 90 minutes for the Causeway and 2 hours for Belfast are technically too short). So, felt rather rushed during the layovers, but when you don't want to/can drive yourself around Ireland, it's the best to do such a bus tour to get first glampse of the places for sure!! Will definitely come back to these in the future without a time schedule on my back ;) Dass, the lovely and well-skilled driver and the tourguide Jacob (a real lively Northern Ireland guy) were a blast to have around and entertained/informed us well. The bus had its own, surprisingly very clean toilet which for a person with a chronic bowel illness is a really relieving fact!
