Irish Coffee Masterclass
We had such a fantastic time at the Irish Coffee Masterclass at the Irish Whiskey Museum, and Karen made the experience truly unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly patient, making the whole class both informative and entertaining. I especially loved chatting with her—she went above and beyond by sharing great recommendations for things to see and do around Dublin on our last night. We ended up visiting all of her suggestions, and they made our final evening even more fun and memorable. We’re so grateful for her insight and kindness! As a bonus, I now feel confident making my own Irish coffee at home, which is such a fun souvenir from the experience. Highly recommend this masterclass—and if you get Karen as your host, you’re in for a great time!
Fantastic
Lidia was very nice and made our experience very pleasant. She made special accommodations for another guest with allergies.
Shaken, Stirred… and Slightly Buzzed
The Irish Whiskey Museum Irish coffee experience is a must! I arrived early (mistake… or not) and got pulled into their gift shop—super cute t-shirts and magnets. Wallet beware. Clean, spacious restrooms were also a plus. Small group—just me, a couple from Germany, and a fun intern from Austria. Elevator was down, but it’s an easy walk up. Staff even helped with my luggage (yes, I bought a whole new suitcase for souvenirs 😅). The class itself was the highlight. We made our own Irish coffee from scratch—learning how to shake the cream just right (not butter!), and pour it over a spoon like a pro. Trickier than it looks! Our instructor was fantastic—funny, informative, and super hands-on. Even if you’re not a whiskey fan, this combo (coffee, sugar, whiskey, cream) just works. I nailed mine—he was impressed, I was proud… and definitely a little buzzed. Pro tip: Go back to your hotel after. Do NOT return to the gift shop like I did. My credit card is still recovering 😂 Highly recommend—fun, interactive, and a great taste of Irish culture!
