Great introduction to Dublin
Friendly drivers who occasionally break into song, excellent handicapped access, and a great way to see Dublin for the first time
DuDublin 48 Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour
We had a 48 hours ticket for the hop on hop off bus tour. When we first joined the bus we stayed on for the whole tour and it is the best hop on hop off bus tour we have ever had and we have had a few over the years. Damien our driver was brilliant - his commentary was full of facts, information, jokes, singing and quizzes. We were sorry to leave his bus. Not only did we learn about Dublin, all stops were clearly communicated to the bus, so you had plenty of warning if you wanted to leave the bus at that stop. After completing the full tour, we also joined the docklands tour and again this was very entertaining including both facts and jokes. Throughout the 48 hours we joined several buses all with live guides who were all very entertaining, full of Irish crack, jokes and stories. Travelled as a family with two teenagers, who both loved all the bus tours we hopped on. We enjoyed the free entry to the Little Museum. This quaint museum was not what we were expecting and we enjoyed a tour with a guide. Would recommend a visit to the museum to see the wide variety of exhibits including the dolls house, U2 memorabilia, copy book of Kells and hear the history of Dublin in 29 minutes!
Great experience, Emma...
Great experience, Emma was so entertaining and knowledgeable, the time flew and I learnt so much, would definitely recommend
Great craic
Loved the driver Damien. Told us heaps about the history of the sites, made us laugh and sang to us. A very funny, entertaining and knowledge man. Also liked the idea of supporting the local bus network.
History, knowledge and family memories
The drivers were funny and polite, the tour was the highlight of the day
