Itinerary
We start off in the centre of Temple Bar and also loop back through another part, a bit later on in the tour. We'll give you a bit of history about one of Dublin's famous cultural centres, as well as a few of our favourite places to visit in your time here.
From Viking origins, through conquest and occupation, all the way to Ireland's hard-fought for independence, Dublin Castle has always been close to the centre of it all. We'll explore the grounds of this famous old complex, bringing you through the role it has played in Irish History, some of the famous characters who have frequented the place over the centuries and also point out some of its lesser-spotted curiosities
Right at the heart of Dublin for 1,000 years, Christ Church Cathedral is teeming with history and wonder. The tomb of Strongbow, the heart of Lorcan O'Toole, The Cat & The Rat, we'll tell you all about this famous old building and give you some of our favourite ways it has found a place in Dublins canon of lore
Ireland's oldest theatre has stood in Temple Bar since 1662, its long and storied life has seen it go from Theatre Royal to Catholic Church and back to theatre again. Great patron of some of Irelands finest writers, directors and actors (including a number of our own guides) we will explore the role this fascinating building has played in the areas history.
Ireland's most famous and photographed pub, an instagram must. We'll walk you past Dublin's most widely-known watering hole and who knows, we might even give you the names of a few other places to check out while you're here.
Star of a million postcards (and instagram posts, for that matter), Dublin's famous Georgian gem of a footbridge has been straddling the River Liffey since 1816. We'll tell you all about its history, from its connection to the battle of Waterloo, all the way to fender guitars and everything in between.
A bridge wider than it is long, we'll cover some of the historic things that it has bore witness to, some of the nation-defining events that happen only yards away, as well as the great man that it was named after
The old centre of Georgian Dublin, flanked on either side by beautiful buildings, we'll point out some of the lesser-mentioned oddities of this famous old thoroughfare.
Ireland's oldest and most famous college, renowned for its beautiful library which houses (amongst other things) the Book Of Kells and the Brian Boru Harp. We'll finish up directly outside this revered and storied old campus.

Tourists in our own Home Town - Great Fun
We decided to be tourists in our own home town - it was a great experience. Dave as a tour guide was fantastic. Good Value for money too. Would recommend everyone to give it a go. Perfect duration for the tour. Good Atmosphere throughout and the size of the crowd was perfect - otherwise it would have been too big to manage in Dublins narrow streets etc
Tour with Jem
Jem was an amazing tour guide! It was informative and exciting. Highly recommend.
