Dublin weekend visit
Brilliant time in Dublin, to be able to hop on and hop off at stops where we wanted to explore was ideal and then to hop on the next tour bus twenty minutes later was just what was needed, drivers were very knowledgeable of all the landmarks and made the bus tour enjoyable, big shout out to Big Al for all the information he gave us prior to our arrival in Dublin.
Two days in Dublin.
This was a positive experience from beginning to end. The reps we booked tickets with were friendly and informative and explained the way the buses operated really well. From there we were able to travel easily around Dublin and were thoroughly entertained by the many drivers. In short, it's a perfect, educational , fun and affordable way to see this beautiful city. And because we started the tour mid afternoon we could continue using the ticket for most of the next day too. Would highly recommend.
Enjoyable and relaxed way to see the city
Stops are easy to find. Frequency of buses is good. The pre-recorded commentary mixed with the driver's commentary is a nice balance of information. Drivers are helpful and friendly.
Bus trip with entertainment
This was a great bus tour, with all the information you needed. But what really made it, was the driver named. Ger. He was so funny, with songs, and conversation that made the trip so different. You almost had entertainment with a bus dropping you off at places of interest. Well done Ger, you made our day.
Definitely book with the Green GoDublin Bus
The Dublin DODublin green bus Hop on Hop off was fantastic and one of the best we have done. We went on both routes and hopped on and off a couple of times so we experienced a number of tour guides/drivers. All were excellent! A thing that all the drivers did well was to explain the stops, explain when and where to get the other route's bus, the times between pickups and generally provided excellent information. I liked having the pre recorded talk as well as the driver's commentary. It was annoying and frustrating when groups of tourists came upstairs and continued their loud conversations - we couldn't hear the recording nor the live guide. It happened a LOT. On our last route, the driver told people to stop talking and that was appreciated but it would be good if it is said more often. If people use the headphones there are less conversations The buses were modern, clean, punctual and easy to find.
