Beautiful Day in the Capital city with a few friends .

Last week myself and a few friends decided to make the most of the Spring sunshine and took it fabulous culinary tour . Our guide Kim met us at Trinity College she was very warm & welcoming to us all . She gave us a brief outline of the tour and what to expect. As we ambled along we got to sample an Irish Coffee , some gorgeous Irish cheeses and the chocolate was devine ! Our tour ended with a whiskey tasting in the Palace Bar in Fleet Street super venue which once welcomed writers such as Patrick Kavanagh, Brendan Behan, Seamus Heaney & Maeve Binchy to name but a few . Kim’s knowledge of her home city is great to listen to I loved listening to all the local stories and her love of her Country’s history she regales with such pride . It was so lovely to wander down cobbled streets and have a little taste of Ireland all while listening to Kim’s fantastic commentary. I highly recommend this fabulous tour ! Thanks Kim
