Puppies, pints & Pat!
We had a delightful time discovering one of Ireland’s National Treasures. Both breathtaking and adorable: we would encourage everyone to tour with Patrick. Oh, and the puppies & cliffs were fun too! Exploring the coastal stores and oysters shucked by the shore was also a big treat.
Delightful Afternoon
Paddy was an excellent guide--full of history and stories and good craic. The hike includes a good bit of uphill climbing--just an FYI. Also bring water with you, especially if it is a warm day. The hike begins in town--so many interesting things to see and great stories to listen to. Then up the trail and along the edge of the cliff. The trail is wide most of the way, and wide enough all of the way. I will admit I stayed on the inner edge of the trail. The views are spectacular. Then you get back to the pub--and it is lovely to sit with your new friends and share a pint and something to eat (optional). AND then, the puppies. So adorable.
Memorable Experience!
I can't say enough about how fun this tour was. Our guide, Paddy, was so funny and informative! We learned so much history, and the hike was amazing. The views were just so breathtaking. The puppies were adorable - our adult kids (18 & 20) had a blast with them, and the pint at the Bloody Stream after the hike was perfect! Truly a great experience!
Puppies and Pints in...
Puppies and Pints in Howth was an absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland! The hike offered breathtaking coastal views, charming trails, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Howth. Spending time with the friendly dogs made the experience even more special. Our guide was knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both the area and the animals. Finishing the adventure with a pint and great conversation was the perfect ending to a memorable day. If you’re looking for a unique experience that combines stunning scenery, local culture, and adorable canine companions, Puppies and Pints is a must-do!
Irish Coast near Dublin
My family of 4 (two teens) thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. Paddy was an amazing and funny guide. He shared with us knowledge of plants and birds along the hike. At various points, Paddy shared the history of events that occurred along the coast the shaped Ireland's history. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore Ireland's coast just 30 minutes away from Dublin.
