Nashville off of Broadway

Great time, great food. Our hostess was wonderful- personable and knowledgeable. It is quite a bit of walking- so just a heads up if you have trouble with that. Otherwise, it’s a great experience that was a highlight for our family group.

A Full Afternoon

This was a great way to get familiar with the downtown area, enjoy amazing food, and new friends. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the city and made our experience so much fun.

Fun Experience, Disappointing Food Options

Overall I enjoyed my experience on our food tour. I booked with this company after the last company I had booked with canceled on me last minute. They were very accommodating even for me booking the morning of the tour. Our tour guide Rebekah was very sweet and knowledgeable. However, I was not terribly impressed with the food options we were served on our tour. Out of the 5 stops, I really only thought 2 were of the quality I was expecting. The first stop we were served a chicken sandwich that was just mid, nothing special. The second stop we were served Nashville's signature hot chicken which I enjoyed being able to sample the different heat levels. The third stop was a southern BBQ shrimp that was delicious. The fourth stop we were served a salad. A plain farm salad, nothing special. While we were eating the plain farm salad, one of the employees from this restaurant were talking about all the delicious other food options they have. It felt like we should have been served something more elevated than a salad. The last stop we went to the Goo Goo candy bar shop which was also slightly disappointing since I was hoping to have a local, chef prepared dessert and not a commercially available candy bar. We were told the first stop where we were served the chicken sandwich had won awards for their desserts. It was disappointing to see those in the case and then be served a candy bar as our dessert. Again overall, I did enjoy my experience, I just felt that the food options were not as impressive as I was hoping.

Eating through Nashville!

We had an awesome time with Tondra, our tour guide. We enjoyed all the delicious food and she knew so much about the the country music scene and history of this cool city.
