Douro Valley river & wine adventure
Our guide, Filipe clearly loves this country and is very knowledgeable about the history as well as the relevant facts of the tour and Very engaging with our group. It was a perfect day to fully experience the Douro Valley with the charm and beauty of the small family run estate to start. The river Cruise was scenic with a beauty of its own. We ventured far up into the hills where we were given the opportunity to experience a taste Of the local cuisine. From there we were welcomed into the Estate of Dalva where we were able to taste both white and red aged port wines. The experience was truly memorable.

Douro Valley Tour
What an incredible day! This was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Portugal, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Porto. A special thank you to our guide, **Filipe**, who was funny, friendly, and made the entire journey so enjoyable. He shared interesting stories throughout the day, kept everyone entertained, and was always happy to take photos for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The Douro Valley itself is absolutely stunning. The winery visits were beautiful and gave us a great introduction to the region’s famous wines, but my favorite part was the **boat tour**. Cruising along the Douro River while surrounded by rolling vineyards and peaceful hills was incredibly relaxing. The views were breathtaking, and it was one of those moments where you just want to put your phone down and take it all in. Everything was well organized, the transportation was comfortable, and the itinerary struck a great balance between sightseeing and relaxation and a very nice traditional Portuguese meal. It was a memorable experience from beginning to end, and Filipe’s energy made it even better. I would happily book this tour again. ☺️
