Begin your day with convenient hotel pickup in Porto and travel in a modern, comfortable minivan as your small group heads towards the breathtaking landscapes of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Douro Valley. Arrive in the breathtaking Douro Valley, where centuries of winemaking tradition have shaped one of the world’s most remarkable landscapes. Terraced hillsides blanketed with vineyards produce the renowned Port wines that made this region famous worldwide. Here, the harmony between nature and generations of local winegrowers has created a unique terroir, making the Douro Valley one of Portugal’s most extraordinary and captivating destinations.
First winery visit and Douro DOC wine tasting. Visit a family-owned winery to taste exceptional Douro DOC wines and learn about the region’s rich winemaking traditions.
After the first winery, enjoy the scenic drive along the famous N222 road, renowned for its breathtaking views of the Douro River. The N222, connecting Peso da Régua to the village of Pinhão, is considered one of the most beautiful roads in the world.

Rodrigo orchestrated the perfect day in the Duoro Valley: just a wonderful mix of wine tasting, authentic lunch, boat ride, learning and sightseeing with absolutely everything taken care of. Could not recommend more.
A lovely Porto experience
A fun tour of the beautiful Douro valley. We were taken to a couple of small family vineyards with a nice lunch and a short cruise in between. Excellent tasting and wine/port quality.

Great way to see beautiful Douro wine valley
This was a great day—from the easy pick up at our Airbnb to our winery and lunch stops to the lovely river cruise. Jose was a great guide—warm and engaging—and the lunch was honestly one of the best meals we had on our trip (and that’s saying something bc there is so much fantastic food to be had in Portugal).
