Crestuma –Lever Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Douro. It is located in the municipality Vila Nova de Gaia, in Porto District, Portugal. Crestuma –Lever Dam is a 25.5 m tall (height above foundation).
Carrapatelo Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Douro, where the river forms the border line between the districts of Porto and Viseu. It is located in the municipalities of Marco de Canaveses, in Porto District, and Cinfães, Viseu District, Portugal. Construction of the dam began in 1964. The dam was completed in 1972.
The Bagaúste Dam is located in the Douro hydrographic basin, on the Douro River, between the banks of the councils of Lamego and Peso da Régua in Portugal. Construction was completed in 1973. It has a height of 41 m above the foundation and a crown length of 350 m.
You will disembark in Pinhão and will be transfer to a renown wine estate. Once you arrive, a visit a renown wine estate will take place, including wine tasting.
The return is made by bus. The return location will be specified in the booking confirmation

SLIMMY THE GOAT
Slimmy made this experience for me and my girlfriend. Told funny stories, remembered all of our names, asked for all of our favorite songs and played them in the bus, stopped at a pastry shop to get someone a special piece of cake for their birthday, and even sang to us. So awesome. Julio drove the bus and was also awesome. Such a big bus on a tiny road. Great experience

Perfect for what we needed.
A fantastic opportunity to explore the Douro River valley, on a perfect day! Lots of space to sit either on or below deck, and a bar service as well. Breakfast served not long after embarking and a 3-course lunch came at noon, with a complimentary glass of Port beforehand. The 3 locks were most interesting, especially to my engineering husband. The beautiful scenery was amazing and when we reached Pinhao, we were taken by coach to Croft wine estate for a tour and refreshments. The return journey by coach followed the route of the river for part of the way, and we enjoyed even more spectacular views together with a lovely sunset.
