Lack of a kayaks vs. a large tour group that had reduced the overall value of the tour
My family consisted of three people, and there were a total of 14 participants in the tour, led by a single guide. In my opinion, the group was too large for one tour guide to manage effectively. Because the group was so spread out on the water, it was often difficult to hear the guide's instructions and explanations. The guide had only five kayaks and five stand-up paddleboards available. Since most participants wanted to kayak, several people had to share kayaks. I was assigned to a two-person kayak. While it worked well, I felt that I missed the experience and enjoyment of paddling my own kayak, which reduced the overall value of the tour for me. For larger groups, I would recommend that the tour guide use a portable speaker or voice amplifier so that everyone can clearly hear the announcements and instructions throughout the trip.
