Excellent
The dessert safari was amazing. The best part being the inland sea, I've never seen or experienced anything quite like it. However, our tour guide Saeed really did make the experience for us and without him it really wouldn't have been the same. From his friendly demeanour and extensive knowledge of all things Qatar related we really enjoyed our time with him, so many thanks once again to Saeed.
What an amazing half-day adventure at Khor Al Adaid
The dune bashing was definitely the highlight, especially with Akhtar, our driver and tour guide. This guy can really drift! 😄 He handled the dunes like a pro and made the ride so exciting. We also enjoyed a camel ride 🐪, sandboarding 🏂, and a walk along the beautiful Inland Sea. The desert scenery was incredible, and seeing the dunes meet the sea was something special. The ATV wasn't part of our itinerary, otherwise I definitely would have given it a try! A great way to experience the beauty of Qatar.
Safari desert with a 1 year old
Akhtar was an exceptional driver and a very good guide, filled us with lots of knowledge about certain landmarks on Qatar as we were on our way to the desert. We took a 1 year old with us and he loved it, akhtar also kept making sure we were good. Would recommend anyone to do on the night one and ask for akhtar

We had Rizwan as our driver & guide. What a fabulous man he is. We found him to be very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot. Four wheel driving in the dunes in pitch black darkness was a blast. Rizwans driving skills were impeccable. We are lucky to have him as our guide again for our next adventure.
If you like drifting, it’s good.
Overall, the experience was good. Our guide was very good at drifting and driving through the desert, so if you enjoy that kind of thing, it’s a great experience. We didn’t book the quad bike, but we did book the hotel pickup. They asked us if we could make our way to the meeting point, so I’m not sure if they weren’t aware that we had booked hotel pickup. In the end, they arrived about 30 minutes late. Apart from that, the guide was very friendly and welcoming.
