A tour not to be missed!
We had a great tour with Sadiq who was our driver/guide. He came to pick us up on time and explained the itinerary to everyone before embarking on the tour. Sadiq is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He helped us by taking pictures of us and we were given sufficient time at each stop. We didn’t feel rushed. He was very attentive, considerate and answered our questions. Thank you Sadiq for a wonderful tour!
Fantastic tour
This was our first visit to Doha. Sadiq was a wonderful guide. He was extremely knowledgeable of the history of each site and the Qatar culture overall. The National Museum was closed so he took it upon himself to show us other sites. We learned so much. He is a wealth of knowledge. He even change the order of sites so that we would end up at the Souq Waqif at the end of the tour when the temperature had cooled. The overall tour was time well-spent. I would highly recommend the tour and Sadiq.
Not the best to be honest!
Before the tour started Saleem's communication was excellent! However, during the tour, his oral communication was abrupt, i'm not sure if its a cultural difference, but at time is was almost rude The transport supplied was old & not at all suitable to comfortably fit 7 adults First stop he Just dumped us at the Qatar Musiem, 10 minutes before it was even open, told ups he'd be back in 50 minutes to pick us up. He just said, walk around outside for 10 minutes, then you can go in. The museum was certainly not the best i've ever encounted. Its only half open & has no direction inside, you have to kind of work it out yourself.....some of the displays were interesting, however as you were just walking around it was disjointed. The Falcon Souq & Souq Waqif were interesting & would have liked to have the time from the museum here, to walk in, out and around some of the shops. The rest of the tour was just rushed..... we get out and take photos here! Okay we walk for ten minutes here..... he did take us to see the half circle building in the new town, which he said wasnt included in the tour, which was nice of him. But I wouldnt do this tour again!
