St Maarten offers some really great diving along the South coast. With a combination of reefs and wrecks there is something for everyone. Fish life is varied and quite prolific and the shark, turtle and stingray population is abundant.

Highlights

  • Our boat, Mermaid’s Tale, is a 30ft semi rigid inflatable center console boat with 600 hp on the back for a quick trip out to the dive sites.
  • We supply filtered water and a light snack on the boat. Back at our dock we offer a beverage from our fridge.

Full description

For the morning dive, if the shop is still closed, please enter through the small gate in the driveway to the left - the dive crew are there and ready to welcome you. During business hours, please come in through the shop.  Our rental dive gear, regularly serviced, is from ScubaPro - balanced regulators, weight integrated BCDs or padded weight belts, short or full wetsuits and, on request, smaller cylinders for smaller divers. Our cylinder valves take both Yoke and DIN regulators. You will assemble and test your gear before boarding the boat - your dive guide is there to assist you as needed - and board the boat ready to dive (swim/wetsuits on). Dive sites are decided on the morning of the dive as they are weather dependent, and the site chosen may change on the way out if another dive boat is already on that mooring. Dives are generally kept to 45 minutes to minimize the surface interval.  
 Water and light snacks are provided on the boat and we offer a beverage from our fridge when back at the shop.

The tour was amazing. Alejandro knew so much about San Jose history. He knew fun facts that will stick in my mind! A very enjoyable evening!

A guia Mariana foi muito simpática e instrutiva. O tour passa pelos principais pontos relevantes do centro de San José. A comida servida no final do tour é o ponto alto. Poderiam cobrar um pouco menos para termos um melhor custo benefício aqui. Mesmo assim vale a pena, pois andar por conta própria no centro de San José pode ser perigoso.

Very informative, my guide was very kind and helpful, she was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. And even thought it was just me and her she made it very memorable in so many ways, food and drinks were amazing 10/10 would do this tour again!
