Steve was an AMAZING tour guide!

Steve picked us up at our Airbnb which was way out in the boonies. He arrived about 10 minutes early, so he made sure he was punctual. He let us know that he was there, but he didn't hurry us to get going because he knew he was early. We were a private party of four, and he catered to our every need. He was a WEALTH of information and answered our every question in great detail. Very knowledgeable man! He was always concerned with giving us the experience that we wanted. It was raining most of the day, but we made the best of it. He knew everything we wanted to do and was sure to include it. We had a full day tour of the Dingle Peninsula, and it was great that we could all enjoy the tour without one of us having to be the driver. He also provided more information than we could have gotten on our own. He originally thought we'd be back about 6:00, but with everything we did it was almost 7:00. (That was not an issue for us, and if time would have been an issue, I'm sure he would have honored that time constraint.) It was obvious that his concern was for keeping us happy and giving us the experience we wanted, and he certainly didn't disappoint. I would JUMP at the opportunity to have Steve as our guide again in the future. You will not go wrong booking a tour with Steve! If you want a personal experience with the things YOU want to see and do with as much time as you want at each stop, Steve is the tour guide you want to have! Thanks so much, Steve, for catering to our every need and answering the multitude of questions we asked. MUCH APPRECIATED!!

He was very accommodating and patient, going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. He’s knowledgeable about the history, culture and sights, and brought us to amazing, breathtaking locations. His dining recommendations in Dingle town were also excellent. Steven made our Dingle trip truly special — a perfect mix of stunning views and warm hospitality. Steven was a wonderful guide — professional, thoughtful and passionate about what he does. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Ireland!

Memorable tour!

We booked a custom full-day tour of the Dingle Peninsula and a transfer to Galway with Steve’s Peninsula Tours. Steve is a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide who grew up in Dingle. We had a great day with him touring the area. He listens to your requests and plans the day according to your interests. If you like he is happy to provide interesting narrative along the ride peppered with fascinating historical facts and stories about the area and the people, delivered in an effortless and approachable manner. He is also very happy to allow his guests to enjoy quiet downtime to reflect and soak up the incredible landscape, and is very observant and picks up cues from the passenger. He has a wealth of historical and local information spanning hundreds of years and effortlessly works these into the narration of the ride in a comfortable and conversational manner rather than a “tour guide” style. In short, our day with Steve was the hands down high point of our trip to Ireland! The landscape and views were like nothing we have ever seen. Steve made the trip a wonderful experience.
