Itinerary
Our tour starts at the central hub of Denver, Union Station, where your local guide will provide an overview of the city's early history and its relationship with alcohol through the years, including the prohibition era.
We'll then venture into the heart of Denver's Lower Downtown, also known as LoDo. Your guide will lead you through the historic, brick-lined streets and introduce you to a few of their personal favorite bars. You may begin with a delightful drink at one of Denver's oldest bars, or find yourself in a cosy underground speakeasy with nods to the city's founding pioneers. As you take in the atmosphere of each establishment, your guide will provide insights on the ingredients and background of each drink. You'll gain an appreciation for Denver's place in the world of cocktails, from traditional classics to unique local twists. Your guide will also dispel any myths and shed light on any controversies surrounding some of the most popular drinks on the menu.
Whether you are a cocktail aficionado or a newbie, this tour will leave you with a deeper appreciation for Denver's craft cocktail scene, as you explore the iconic Larimer Square and the surrounding Lower Downtown neighborhood. Your local guide will also provide plenty of recommendations for more delicious cocktails, locally brewed beer, and great places to dine in Denver for the rest of your stay.

Wow!! We would have given this tour 6 stars if we could. Our tour guide, Dave, was so knowledgeable and spun the stories to weave Chicago's history so clearly for these East Coast visitors. Loved the mixture of interior and street landmarks. We learned so much and will be sure to recommend this tour to others. A true highlight activity of our visit to Chicago.
Ms. Ally, you were truly incredible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your knowledge, your stories, and your passion with us. You made this experience unforgettable, and we’re so grateful for you.”
We booked this walking tour on our second day in Boston, and am so glad we did. Travelling from Ireland, we were aware of the connections to Boston, but never really appreciated the deep history and importance of Boston. Our tour guide - Bob - was amazing. He is a true font of knowledge on everything from the background to the American revolution, its key players like Samual Adams and Paul Revere, the City as a centre of trade and commerce, and how it became a home for so many immigrants who transformed the City’s commerce, culture and politics. Best of all we learned all of this while strolling around the best parts of Boston and enjoying the most amazing food. Bob delivered with humour and fun. He was engaging and helpful, and has so much passion and deep historic knowledge which came across at every opportunity. The food aspects were incredible. We spent much of the time in the North End, - little Italy - and were introduced to several amazing multi generational family food businesses that we would never have found otherwise - bakeries, coffee shops and delis - with lots of wonderful food to sample. It was a fantastic tour. Genuinely, it completely enriched my knowledge and perspective on the City and was enjoyable from start to finish. There are lots of tours of the city - bus tours. Duck tours, ghoul tours, walking tours etc and some look a bit gimmicky with tour guides dressed is period costumes. If that’s your thing then fine, but you will miss on a tour like this one which so authentic, educational, fun and engaging. Travelling around the city with a guide with such knowledge and history as a guide like Bob, turned out to be a great privilege. I highly recommend this trip. I doubt you could find a better way to four or five hours in this most fascinating city,

Denver cocktail tour
Had such a fun time with Kristina and Hailey! First cocktail tour and we didn’t know what to expect but now we have favorite cocktails and cool stories to tell!
Amazing and fun tour!! Full of great information and (obviously) great cocktails.
We had an amazing time with Laura! She was knowledgeable, fun, and showed us a great time in Denver. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour to learn about the Denver area and the cocktails that shaped its history.
Fun Valentine's Day activity
We had such a fun time on our tour and learned a lot of interesting history on cocktails and the local area. Highly recommend even if you have some familiarity with the Denver downtown area!
Historical Cocktail Tour
We did the historical cocktail tour with Kristina and had one of the best experiences with her during our trip in Denver! Not only was she extremely accommodating and kind, but also gave us lots of history for each place. The places were not too busy, but all extremely tasty. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone. We actually did another tour the following day and all said it wasn’t anywhere near as good or enjoyable as our tour with Kristina!
Great birthday celebration fun!
Tour guide was amazing, tour is well planned and researched. Learned more about Colorado history than expected and found new favorite spots for historical cocktails. Highly recommend!!
