On a stunning scenery excursion from Marrakech through small Atlas villages such as Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula, explore the Berber settlements of the High Atlas Mountains. Stop in Arghen village, and Aroumd village to take in the scenery of the fields and fruit trees. Lunch can be had in a Berber house.

Set out for a full-day trip from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains and Desert Agafay. We'll start at Marrakech Cafe Agrana at 9 am. Along the morning route, head off the drive path to stop for a camel ride and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Following, you will enjoy stopping by a local argan oil collective for a tour and a snack as well as to experience the bottling process first hand by the local Berber women.

Next, you will travel to Imlil, a village in the High Atlas Mountains to experience the mountains as you trek between some of Morocco's remote villages. You will also enjoy learning about traditional Berber culture from your guide who is local to the area.Discover the mountain community of Imi n’Tala, while you walk to a nearby village for lunch in a local Berber home, and wind along isolated tracks towards the rocky expanse of the Agafay Desert. Beyond the breathtaking views, take in the verdant arc of Takerkouste Lake and explore the market town of Amizmiz; pause for a glass of mint tea then head to the backcountry into narrow valleys that shelter traditional Berber villages.
