Delightful 50th birthday activity

My wife and I took the tour on standard bicycles. We are 50 year olds who like riding bikes and learning history and cultures of places, so this was an ideal tour. The guide, Robby, was a Dublin native with tremendous knowledge and a very relaxed and enjoyable personality. He answered all questions thoroughly and happily. We learned a lot on topics ranging from Celtic society thousands of years ago, to Viking and Norman invasions, to Ireland’s conflicts with Britain, to Bono and U2, to changes in the 21st century as Ireland has grown more affluent. Just as importantly, we had fun!
