Travel by canoe along the Cuyabeno River, immersing yourself in the lush jungle surroundings. At Laguna Grande, take a refreshing swim in the pristine waters. Each day, embark on guided jungle explorations to discover the diverse flora and fauna of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Your stay includes comfortable accommodations and authentic Amazonian meals, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience.

Good to know

  • To reach Cuyabeno Bridge, transportation departs from Quito the night before your tour. The most convenient option is a tourist shuttle with pick-up from two locations: Plaza Foch (Hotel Embassy, Wilson E8-22 & 6 de Diciembre) at 10:30 PM, or from the Historic Center (Secret Garden Hostel, José de Antepara & Los Ríos) at 11:00 PM. This service provides a direct overnight transfer to the meeting point and costs USD 37.00 per person one way, or USD 74.00 round trip. Alternatively, you can take a public bus with Putumayo Bus Company, the only company that travels directly to Cuyabeno Bridge. The bus departs from Quitumbe Bus Terminal in southern Quito at 9:00 PM, with a cost of USD 19.00 per person (one way). Please note that transportation is not included in the tour price and must be arranged in advance.

Additional information

Passengers must arrive at Puente de Cuyabeno on their own, where they will meet a guide who will take them to the Lodge. To get to Puente de Cuyabeno, where you will meet the staff, you can hire a tour bus, which departs from Quito the night before, from the area of Plaza Foch Hostal Blue House (Joaquín Pinto y Diego de Almagro) 22:30 p.m. and for tourists from the Historic Center, Hostal Guayunga (José de Antepara y Vicente León) 23:00 p.m., direct trip to our meeting point.
