I am absolutely Disturbed that at almost midnight Diego, the tour guide, could not drop me off at my hotel and drop me off a block and a half away. So in the middle of the night I have to walk down the street to my hotel. It would not be that hard to have the bus drive a little bit further. I am not from this country and I do not feel safe walking alone. I am a solo female. I don't understand why he couldn't have asked the driver and when I arrived at the hotel they were shocked and had never heard of this. It's just disturbing. And yes I have made it to the hotel but that's just unacceptable. It is the middle of the night and I don't think a typical guide would do this. The tour itself was great. Peter with so much fun on the dune buggies. Also, would you please tell Diego not to stand there and watch me write a review. He was so pushy about writing reviews and stood there watching me write it. Unfortunately I had to figure out how to delete that review because of this incident with being dropped off not at my hotel. I could understand it if I were not solo, but there is no reason if the bus can pick me up at my hotel while they couldn't drop me off because there is no traffic at this time. I cannot believe this and I am highly disturbed by this. The bus driver and Diego didn't even wait to see if I made it to the hotel. I would not recommend Peru hop if they are going to assign you to this tour guide Diego. I genuinely think he needs further training or maybe needs to be relieved of his job. I would never recommend that normally but he didn't even greet me when he arrived at my hotel. He just looked at me, saw that I was waiting and turned around and got back on the bus. The other two were guides were actually quite friendly and would answer my questions with a smile. I don't know what is going on with Diego and he did try to make some jokes on the bus but it's not funny to be dropped off in the middle of the street at almost midnight.
What an incredible experience with Peru Hop today! From start to finish, it was such a fun and memorable adventure. We got to experience so much of what makes Peru special, but the absolute highlight was sandboarding and riding the dune buggies through the desert! Hands down one of the most exhilarating and unforgettable experiences of our trip!
My experience with Peru Hop was phenomenal! Ana was amazing and everything was planned perfectly from start to finish! Best day trip to end our weeklong trip to Peru!
