Itinerary
In order to be protected from French occupation in the 1940s, Communist guerrilla troops known as Viet Cong dug tens thousands of miles of tunnels with their bare hands and simple tools and further expanded during the American War in the 1960s. Located 75 kilometres northwest of Ho Chi Minh city, the Cu Chi tunnels are an elaborate underground network made up of 250 km of tunnels and chambers in the town of Cu Chi. This huge network underground tunnels in Viet Nam which has been preserved by the Viet Nam government and has become a popular tourist attraction.
Mekong Delta is known as The Nine Dragon river delta since it is formed by nine rivers. The background of this area is the largest site of endless paddy rice fields, coconut farms, tropical fruit gardens. It is very easy for you to catch sight of children riding on the back of the water buffaloes and farmers working on the fields, trading on the floating markets. The rural communities are just the thing for all tourists who want to get rid of the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy yourselves with many beautiful landscapes such as floating markets, Unicorn island, Vinh Sang farm, An Binh island, bee farm, craft village, traditional working village… and many attractive folk games.

Traveler reviews
Impressive tour, got the stories, history and experience I hoped for
Staff and especially our tour guide was wonderful! he was very knowledgeable and made with his stories the trip even more impressive. Already in our small bus he told us about the Vietcong perspective. It was because of a movie "Tunnels, sun in the dark" from director Bu Thac Chuyen 2025 that was shown at the Rotterdam International Film Festival 2026 January that I wanted to visit the Chu Chi tunnels. I went into the tunnels, and also did the shooting experience with the AKA 47. I really got an impression about the ingenuity and resilience of the Vietnamese.

It is so great! Jackie is great guide!
Most comprehensive tour in the area
This tour more than delivered - so many amazing experiences packed in a single day - from the tunnels and learning about the Vietnamese tactics during war, to meeting the lovely people of Mekong Delta and learning about their crafts and trying the local products. Thanks to our guide Hubert who made the experience enjoyable and kept our spirits up throughout the whole day!
Great trip!
Hoang was amazing. Great day!
Interesting experience!
Overall, a great tour with Ben. He was enthusiastic and fun, and made an effort to engage with all the tour participants. The Cu Chi tunnels were interesting, but felt a bit rushed and we sometimes could not hear Ben. The Mekong Delta portion was lovely. The stops in the middle were ok, and seemed to be more geared towards encouraging tourists to purchase things. Recommended overall!
