Discover the immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Củ Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the various traps used during the war and enter and crawl through one of the tunnels.

Amazing day out.
Amazing day out with our guide Hugo who was fantastic and helped make a memerable day. There were a few unexpected surprises on the tour which made the day. The local people who hosted the trips and entertainment were really good. Overall this is a great day out and excellent value.

Great day out of the city
Fabulous day out of the city. Hugo was our guide - informative and fun. The tunnels are very cool to see and test out. Lunch was good quality. Then a bit of a drive to the Mekong Delta where we saw traditional songs, tried local fruits and honey and snake wine! Finishing off with a lovely row through the delta. Would recommend!
Interesting historical experience but could improve in some areas.
This was a pretty good tour. Our guide was named Mario and he was very knowledgeable about the history around the Vietnam War and the events leading up to it. The Chu Chi tunnels were interesting to see in person. However, we really did not like having to hear people shooting AK-47 s the entire time in the background. It made it difficult to hear what our guide was saying and since the gift shop and food area is right next to the range, you had no choice but to hear bullets being fired the entire time. It was very disorienting and disturbing. We enjoyed Mekong Delta and getting to explore Unicorn Island. We got to meet the people who live their full time and had a chance to purchase some of the goods they produce there. They were very upfront about asking for tips everywhere we went, which felt a little overwhelming after a while. In addition, our guide could have done a better job of letting those of us who expressed food sensitivities about the ingredients of some of the items they gave us to eat. For example, he told us that the coconut candy had nothing in it but the pure coconut. Not even sugar. However, the sample he gave out had peanuts in it and it caused me to break out in hives later that afternoon. Thankfully, I only have a sensitivity and not a serious allergy. Last, our guide often made a lot of sexist jokes during the day that my husband and I got tired of pretty quickly. So, I gave an overall 3 stars because there were things we really liked and also some things that could be improved.
