Itinerary
Outside the Randolph Hotel, Beaumont Street, Oxford, OX1 2LN, meet our guide at 08:15am and tour departs at 08:30am.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Cotswolds on this unforgettable day trip from Oxford. Travel through rolling hills, picturesque countryside, and storybook villages as you explore three of the region’s most charming destinations: Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Burford.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Cotswolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The first stop is Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest Cotswold village, located on a hill at almost 800ft. Known for its Market Square, take in stunning views as you wander the charming town.
Bourton-on-the-Water, fondly known as the "Venice of the Cotswolds" due to the charming low bridges that cross the River Windrush. Explore the village’s picturesque streets, browse independent shops, or relax in one of its many traditional tearooms.
Burford, a historic market town that perfectly captures the timeless charm of the Cotswolds. Walk along its steep high street lined with independent shops, antique stores, and inviting cafés. Visit the magnificent St John the Baptist Church, one of the most beautiful medieval churches in the country, and soak in the old-world atmosphere of this delightful town.

Worthwhile
We have enjoyed our tour. Oliver was very funny, friendly and knowledgeable and Mario did a great job of providing a smuth ride on the bus despite the poor weather.
What a day !
Thank you to our wonderful tour guide Pete Rabbit for your knowledge, enthusiasm, and care, and to our bus driver Lucian for your safe driving and professionalism. Together, you made our journey smooth, enjoyable, and truly memorable.
This is an efficient tour of the Cotswolds
I wanted to visit the Cotswolds from Oxford, so I found one in Agoda and applied. The Cotswolds are hard to get to without a car, so having a tour helped. Our guide Peter was very fun and was able to get around efficiently on the big bus. I think the last time I spent at Boughton-on-the-Water, it could have been two hours.
