Itinerary
This is our starting point! Discover the rich origins of Copenhagen– and the key historical figures involved.
It's a church! But what kind of church? In this stop you will learn about the great Copenhagen fires.
Pass by: See where the longest pedestrian-only shopping street in the world is.* *Not personally verified, but definitely in all of Denmark!
From this location, we will have a good view of some of the most beautiful buildings in the city. We will talk about the statue at its centre, and some of the buildings.
Pass by: See this French-inspired building. This is one of the biggest department stores in Denmark.
Pass by: Where do the rich and famous stay when they're in the city? Here's your answer!
Pass by: This is arguably one of the most impressive buildings in the square. Find out who the statues up front are!
This harbour is the birthplace of many histories and stories! It's more than a post card, but the buildings are definitely only worth looking at but not necessarily heading into them.
Home to the embassies, even of one of our most dreadful foes.* This stop is about WWII and Denmark. We won't spoil it for you in advance! *Historically.
This is the square where the Royal residences are. There are changing of the guards every 2 hours, but if your tour starts at 11, we arrive just in time for the big one of the day at noon!
The marble church! Probably the most beautiful one in all of Denmark. This is where we end the tour, although there may be some variation between each guide. All ending points are a 5 minute walk away from here.

Great if you’re new to Copenhagen
Very knowledgeable guide and quite humorous. Tour was about 90min. Overall, good experience :)
A great politically incorrect tour of Copenhagen - please go along - highly recommended
We are so glad we found this tour. We stumbled across it whilst looking through Google Maps but judging by how popular it was, we clearly missed the advertising. If not, this tour needs to be advertised more visibly as it was a fantastic experience. Our guide was Steen and it was a fantastic laugh from start to finish. Whilst imparting great knowledge, Steen was also humerous in abundance with his sometimes 'close to the knuckle' style. We toured a number of spots around the city on foot as a large group. The tour is free but tips are encouraged and we were happy to tip for what we found was a really good experience. Not for the easily offended - lol.

Seb was amazingly entertaining knowledgeable with a great sense of not so PC humour! We learnt heaps and it has been a highlight of our visit here. Thanks
Funny, entertaining and full of great local insights
We had a great time on this free walking tour! Our guide was funny, engaging, and had a great sense of humor. We especially enjoyed his politically incorrect jokes—particularly the ones about Sweden—which made the tour even more entertaining for us. The tour was a great mix of history, local politics, and interesting stories. We saw all the main highlights but also discovered a few hidden gems that we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. The pace was relaxed, the explanations were interesting, and we were entertained from start to finish. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for an informative tour that doesn’t take itself too seriously!
Do this tour!
Roger is an excellent guide. We've done many walking tours all over the world and Roger is among the best. Funny, and informative, the tour went by too quickly.
