Sometimes you want a ‘know it all’ to show you around-I suggest you take it
You should absolutely take this tour if you want to learn the general layout of Melbourne CBD. It’s fun and educational, meeting new people is always fun, so reach out and say hello to others too. The tour leaders are Melbournians so they know this city.
Excellent Overview of Melbourne's History and Hidden Gems
I thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour and would highly recommend it. It was an excellent mix of history, local culture, architecture and Melbourne's famous laneways. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and had a genuine passion for the city, making the three hours fly by. I came away with a much better understanding of Melbourne and a long list of cafés, bars and hidden gems to explore over the following days. The coffee stop and pub at the end were a nice touch, and the small group made the experience feel relaxed and interactive. This tour is a great way to orient yourself and discover places you'd probably walk straight past otherwise.
Hugo was outstanding....

Unmissable Tour - Friendly, Funny & Enthralling!
Fantastic intro to Melbourne, its history, fun facts, local insight and local tips and secret venues, invaluable, couldn’t ask for better insight. All delivered with energy, enthusiasm and humour. Hugo’s great, he shares a wealth of info, nothing is to much trouble, no question goes unanswered and he looks to understand people interests and tailor the tour and info he imparts. Fantastic afternoon and a wealth of info and insight shared - many thanks Hugo for a 5*+ experience… so much so I signed up for his bars tour and equally enjoyed that ++. G reat day and night! Food tour next time - Many thanks!
