Shotover Jet Queenstown operates high-speed jet boat rides through the narrow Shotover River Canyons in Queenstown, New Zealand. The company has been operating commercially since 1965 and is the only jet boat operator permitted in these canyons. Rides last approximately 25 minutes, reaching speeds of up to 90 km/h, and are available to passengers at least 1 metre tall. All participants are provided with life jackets, and safety standards meet Maritime New Zealand requirements.
